For starters, our guide, Georgie, was on tine, came in and introduced himself, and was very respectful with great English skills. Our group really only knew of a few things we wanted to do and that was visit Monaco, have a good lunch, and see what Nice had to offer on a Sunday. Georgie was able to add a lot more to our schedule. He took us to Old Town, Nice and walked the flower and produce market. We were able to purchase souvenirs in the market at a fraction of the cost of the shops. After the market, we made our way to some look out points for some photos of Nice from a higher elevation. We then stopped at Eza for a hike up into the village and some great photo ops. What an exceptional place to visit with so much history. The final area we visited and spent a lot of time in was Monaco and Monte Carlo. We were able to sit and eat a fantastic lunch, see the changing of the guard at the castle along hearing about all of the history behind everything to do with Nice and Monaco throughout the whole trip. Georgia has been involved in tourism for over 16 years and the amount of knowledge he holds is unbelievable.
I would recommend this trip for anyone looking to learn and be introduced to all of the little hidden gems of the region. We would not have been in able to find or see 1/4 of what Georgie showed us in a week, much less in an 8 hour guided tour.
